Pet Synth Boys
The PET SYNTH BOYS workshop is an opportunity for those interested to try out and learn about synthesizers and other audio devices, as well as to gain theoretical knowledge.
We bring a mixing desk with a soundsystem and some synthesizers, drum machines, grooveboxes, effects and random gadgets so that passersby can tinker with them as they wish. In the meantime, we are happy to talk about the tools or synthesis/sound design in general. We can also just quietly enjoy the joy of others while they discover and make music. Participants can even join the shared experience with their own instruments.
A great program in clubs or fairs, even for 1-2 hours.
If someone would like to deepen their knowledge of synthesis, sound design or would like to learn more about how a “live act” is built, we are happy to give a frontal lecture or even a demonstration of a specific instrument. We provide general knowledge of music theory, studio techniques, the history of electronic music, timbres or various digital audio softwares (Ableton, Max, Cubase, etc.).
For years, we have been attending DAAD and Ozora (and many other) festivals with great success, offering visitors the experience of making music. At these events, the “opening hours” are long, so there is time to chat, give performances, and there is also plenty of room for making music together.
If you’d like a workshop at your event (be it a festival or a conference), feel free to reach out to us and we’ll plan the best experience for your audience:
